The Roger Algase letter (ID 9/22/06) narrowly focuses on
exaggerated, "chaos and terror in immigrant communities, as well
as a humanitarian and economic disaster...", as an excuse to not
enforce entry laws, with no regard to the same or worse very real
consequences suffered by US citizens from excessive legal and
illegal entry due to lax enforcement and policies. A 5-year-old
Alabama girl is undergoing treatment for possible HIV infection
after Julio Cesar Cruz Martinez, who was previously deported, was
charged with raping her. Grandmother Mary Sadler of TN was
brutally murdered and violated by illegal Ivan Moreno. Another
illegal in CO was jailed for dragging a women tied to a rope
behind his car until dead. Dozens of citizens are killed every
day as a result of past lax entry enforcement. Millions of
others are affected in many other ways. The current spinach scare
is likely a result of unsanitary and unscreened illegal workers
and may only be a harbinger of things to come. When you degrade
health standards by hiring unscreened, illegal aliens, what else
can you expect? Migrants can avoid any perceived problems in the
US by not coming or by returning. US citizens can only rely on
entry limits and enforcement of laws to avoid these and many
other "punitive" effects. Limits and enforcement on entry wisely
suggested by Pat Buchanan and others are long past due. A
moratorium is not unreasonable due to the excessive entry we have
had for years since the 1986 law fraud and fiasco. New Orleans
could not be stabilized until the flood waters receded. When the
rate of entry exceeds that of assimilation, chaos is the result.
The norestrictionista's rejection of HB 4437 and enforced entry
limits while supporting lax entry policies, S 2611, the North
American Union or the NWO clearly shows an agenda other than the
best interests of America and the color of it is green - not red,
white and blue.
